Chai Masala is a homage to real flavored tea, true flavored tea brewed with potently fresh spices, not with harsh and cheap concentrates. This blend will fill your house with an aroma that will transport your senses to the other side of the world, to a place where such a beverage remains an everyday staple.
Our Recipe: Makes 2 Cups
- 1 tsp crushed fresh ginger
- 1 tsp NickyDi's Chai Masala
- 1.5 cup water
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 tsps. CTC Assam Tea
- 2-3 tsp sugar (to taste)
Take a tsp of NickyDi's Chai Masala, crush it slightly using a mortar & pestle.
Bring the water, ginger & spices to a rolling boil. Then add the rest of the ingredients & it bring back to a boil. Be careful at this point, it can boil over. Turn the heat down to a simmer & let it cook for another 3-5 mins. Adjust sugar according to preference. Strain through a mesh strainer and serve hot. Goes well with savory snacks!
1.5oz Bag will make 10-12 cups of Chai.
